The formal presentation places NICRAT’s institutional recognition firmly in the public record and connects the honour to the Institute’s national work in cancer research, treatment coordination and cancer control.
The Capital Health Awards recognised NICRAT for its contribution to building a cohesive, scientifically rigorous and collaborative national cancer-research ecosystem. The honour was received by the Institute’s Director-General, Dr. Usman Malami Aliyu, on behalf of NICRAT.
At the presentation at NICRAT Headquarters in Abuja, the Institute acknowledged the wider support behind its work and reaffirmed the importance of sustained progress in cancer awareness, prevention, treatment and research.
